Jude 9 Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”
Why this dispute about the body of Moses?
Could it be that Moses was the one who received the Ten Commandments?
Exodus 34:28 So he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments. [1]
Moses not only received the Ten Commandments from God but also presented them to the people and followed them himself. [2] [3]
The Ten Commandments: Exodus 20:1-17 [4]
1. You shall have no other Gods before Me. (vs. 3)
2. You shall not make for yourselves an idol. (vs. 4-6)
3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain. (vs. 7) [5]
4. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. (vs. 8-11)
5. Honor your father and your mother. (vs. 12)
6. You shall not murder. (vs. 13)
7. You shall not commit adultery. (vs. 14)
8. You shall not steal. (vs. 15)
9. You shall not bear false witness. (vs. 16)
10. You shall not covet. (vs. 17)
And if you will keep My Command…

Scriptures:
John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Matthew 22:37-40 [37] “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ [6] 38 “This is the first and great commandment. 39 “And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40“On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Conclusion:
Jesus said, “For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. [7]Therefore, the deeper you go into the word by following the commandments, the harder it is to return to sin. [8]
