The Substance of The Devil’s Lie: Dream 4:21 A.M. November 11, 2023
In my dream, sin had covered the earth and settled upon the housetops with the substance of sin, which is ungodly, unholy, and void of the Spirit (Jude 1:17-19). This substance of sin is the devil’s lie (Genesis 3:4-5). In my dream, I saw the substance of the lie, and my eyes could see the deception. This substance was everywhere; I did not perceive any truth. The only truth in the world is the word of God, which is concealed by the substance of sin. In the dream, I didn’t see the word of God, which is truth!
Imagine walking outside, and there is a substance that covers all the earth, and it is the snare of the devil, which is his lie. The only way to escape his snare (bondage) is by the word of truth—the Word of God—Jesus Christ. Isaiah 45:22 “Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.
In this dream, I knew the word of God was absent. It was by my faith that I knew this. This is discernment and the reason why we walk in faith. When the word of God is obscured by sin, the people perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Hebrews 11:1-3 teaches that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. When faith rules our lives, it becomes manifest, and sin dies.
To conclude, walk outside your house, look at your roof, and imagine seeing a substance covering it. Then imagine the Lord taking you into the sky for an aerial view of your neighborhood and saying, “See the substance of sin covering all the houses.” At that moment, I knew where sin was present, that the word of God—Jesus Christ—was hidden from the people who lived in the house. They were all in bondage to the devil, captivated by his will (II Timothy 2:26). Seek the LORD while you still can (Isaiah 55:6).
